Today marks the start of my journey with my own website. I just realized I actually created this account three years ago! It made me wonder—what was I thinking back then when I signed up for WordPress? A few years ago, I dabbled in platforms like Medium and Evernote. I had heard that some people were able to earn money through writing.
I never seriously intended to write for profit. However, I always felt the need to have a space of my own. I’ve been writing posts and diaries for nearly a decade, but they’re scattered and messy. Along the way, I’ve collected many insightful posts and opinions. These pieces are filled with sincerity and emotion. They have inspired me as I’ve grown.
On my other blogs, I’ve even translated a few articles from magazines. I’ve read books, kept book reviews, and outlined my future career plans. These writings feel quite personal, and I’ve struggled with how to share them properly.
Since my college days, I’ve dreamed of becoming a freelancer. I’ve been learning different languages and now speak English, Cantonese, Japanese, and Chinese. I’m fascinated by different cultures, design trends, and love reading both literature and business insights.
In college, I majored in business, and since graduating, I’ve worked as an HR manager, an online store manager, and an ESL teacher. English isn’t my first language, but I’m committed to improving and writing more accurately. You might even find posts in different languages here as I go. I’m still figuring things out, but I hope your time here won’t be wasted!
