This time I am going to write about Japanese learning in the following days.

I registered for my JLPT N1 test.

I started to watch TV series in Japanese since 10 years old. I love Ultraman, Inuyasha, Conan, and of course, Naruto!

To be honest, I couldn’t spend too much time on anime. I haven’t watched the full seasons of Natume’s Book. I hope I will watch Demon Slayer, too.

Exactly I have been learning Japanese since I went to college. And at the same time, I already had some basic knowledge like writing Kanji and Kana. And I have kept reading and writing for around 5 years in my spare time.

I worked as an ESL English teacher for two years. It is a great experience I learned a lot about course designing. I mean, let’s take an example from English learning. We started to learn English when we were babies. The first word we could say was “mama.” Students learn ABCD and “Hello, what’s your name?” at their first ESL lesson.

I want to share with you here: learning Japanese through immersion.

There are a lot of textbooks and language exchange groups on the internet. But I found there are few materials that help a beginner learn Japanese in Japanese rather than in English.

Another thing, a lot of learners should learn Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji at the same time. This is unlike Asian students who speak Korean or Chinese so there was something they had already known. I will show you how native Japanese children start learning their language.

This is a list of some applications for Japanese school students learning the “national language “. You can copy and google these keywords, or search them in the Play Store or apple store. You will find some good materials like picture books or vocabulary lists. Here we go:

I am trying to make my posts more systematic. I will follow the ESL course structure and content. I will also post in Japanese. Maybe I will design exercises and flashcards, it depends on whether I have enough time. And you can make your own vocabulary list!
