Another Update

I’m still working hard to get my first big order or payment.

Most of my communication with clients is through WhatsApp. I can also use Skype, but sometimes the network isn’t good enough for calls.

When I follow up with clients on WhatsApp, I usually don’t have a long greeting. I think everyone is busy, so I just get to the point and ask my questions. I’m okay with getting short replies like “need time,” “still pending,” or “will reply to you if there is an update.” However, I don’t always get a reply right away. The only time I get comments from clients and end-users is when I call them.

I’d like to learn more about my clients and their hobbies. I’m in some chatting groups where people are really nice, but we hardly talk about work in those groups. On WhatsApp, I haven’t talked about anything other than working with my clients yet, except for one number who turned out to be a fraud. I hope I can find a way to connect with my clients on a more personal level.

PS: I haven’t written gossip for months.

I know what you mean. When I read some beautiful blogs about daily reading, a small shop downstairs, knitting hats, or bonsai, I feel inspired too. It’s so easy to get caught up in work and forget about the things that make us happy. I think it’s important to find a way to balance work and life. It’s not always easy, but it’s worth it. When we’re happy and relaxed, we’re more productive and creative. I don’t know if my pals have already gotten a “work-life balance” or if they have a job not really business-like. But I know that I’m luckier to have a job than those who don’t have weekends. And I’m determined to find a way to make it work for me. It’s not always easy, but it’s worth it.
