July Plans: Best Books on Fashion and Brands

I’ve always felt that the trendy lifestyle and fashion world of big cities seemed a little out of reach for me—or maybe I just didn’t feel confident enough and ended up missing out on a lot. But I also believe that in the future, a wide range of personalized brands will operate more professionally and grow their own influence. That’s why I want to build on what I started learning in June and set even more goals for July. Here’s what I have planned:

1. Reading List: This month’s reading list is quite long—definitely more ambitious than the ones I’ve shared before. After expanding my circle to include like-minded colleagues, I’m making my reading list public. Here’s what I’m tackling:

It’s a diverse selection, and I hope to challenge myself with some of these titles. I’ll also be sharing notes, though these will likely be more chaotic than the neat reflections I usually post since most of the books are non-fiction.

2. Fitness Goals: After successfully controlling my weight, it’s time to step up the exercise routine. The goal is to ride 150 kilometers on my bike, which I expect to achieve in about six sessions. I also plan to hit 30 push-ups in one go and 70 repetitions with a grip strengthener (120kg).

3. Books from Previous Lists I Haven’t Finished:

  • Americana
  • The Silence of the Lambs
  • Jimmy Page’s Biography (I’m still on repeat with the albums).

4. Other Projects: In my spare time, I’ve been working on organizing my TikTok and Instagram collections. I still haven’t finished sorting them, but I hope to make them public soon. Also, last month I didn’t get to share my Fashion 101 vocabulary notes for women’s fashion. That’s on the to-do list!

Stay tuned for more updates as the month progresses!
